Dr. Corkins grew up in upstate New York. She graduated from Siena College with a B.S. in Biology. Dr. Corkins received medical degree from SUNY Upstate Medical University. She completed her residency training at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in North Carolina. She is board-certified in pediatrics and a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She is also a member of the Massachusetts Medical Society.
Dr. Corkins joined Crown Colony Pediatrics in 2007. She enjoys her practice in general pediatrics. Her special interests are in ADHD and Behavioral Health. After having completed her 3 year residency in pediatrics at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC, she then practiced pediatrics in Georgetown, SC for 4 years.
Having grown up in the Northeast, Dr. Corkins and her husband relocated to the South Shore to be closer to family and raise their 2 children. When she is not at work, she enjoys her time skiing and traveling with her family and Boston Terrier, Ozzy.
